One of the reasons your plant has died

So you purchased a plant, you planted it, you admired it for a few weeks and then...it died. Why? There could be several reasons, from a wrong placement of the plant (for example in the spot with not enough sun for a sun-like plant), to overwatering it (yes, this happens as well, so do not carry away with your watering can!). However, there might be not so obvious reasons for the early departure of your newly planted garden friend.

Quick tip:

If the root ball is still shaped like a pot or how you originally planted it, it is likely that the hole that was dug was the wrong shape. A round hole will not allow the roots to spread out and let the plant thrive. Planting in a square shaped hole will yield far better results.

Although you might not be able to save your existing plant, hopefully this quick tip will help you from preventing this happening again in the future.
